Homeopathy

 

Homeopathy is a gentle, non-invasive form of treatment safe for all ages, from the intra-uterine to the very old. Substances from Nature, like plants, minerals, salts etc. are dissolved according to a scientific formula to make a homeopathic remedy. These are administered as little white sugar pills that easily dissolve in the mouth. In Homeopathy we try not to treat the “disease symptoms” alone, we treat the “person” with the disease symptom so that the remedy selection becomes an individualized treatment specific to the needs of every single individual. In general homeopathy treats a wide array of acute and chronic diseases. In a nut shell- Like treats Like- is the basis of homeopathy.

Homeopathy is practiced world-wide, but has only recently re-gained momentum in the US. Different countries have different licensing requirements. Often, people from other countries have a four year medical degree recognizing them as a doctor in their country. However these are not recognized as a Medical degree here in the United States. Many professional healthcare practitioners here take different courses to add to their existing medical awareness. It is always a good idea to ask each homeopath about their specific training levels.

(You can also self treat for simple problems for yourself or children. If you don't get good results you need to find a practitioner. You also need to work with a practitioner more constitutional or long standing problems. )
