Licensed acupuncture professionals, in private practice, can help with fertility, optimal preconception health, changing fetal positions (as with breech turns) and easing the discomforts of pregnancy. Some acupuncturists will attend births providing pain management techniques and comfort measures during labor and delivery. These professionals have the most experience and requirements for licensing. Be sure to ask any professional about the number of hours they have studied. It can vary a great deal especially if it is an add one to another profession.
Moxabustion, for turning breech babies, is also offered by most acupuncturists.
