Pre/Postnatal Exercise and Yoga

We all know that keeping our bodies in good working condition requires working out or otherwise being active. We have a very sedentary culture. There are many ways we can get in shape for labor and birth and stay in shape afterward. Prenatal exercise and postnatal exercise are an important part of staying well. Many classes allow you to take baby with you so you can start instilling the importance of being fit at an early age.

The breath work and stretching of yoga will benefit both you and your baby. It helps by bringing you into balance as well as being a form of self care. It is a wonderful way to connect with other mothers. Appreciate your body and baby by preparing for birth with yoga. Recovering from birth or taking a mother and baby class are also great options.
