If we are all co-creators then what kind of world are we creating? I have a dream.
First, do no harm. How does what we think, say or do benefit others? How does what we choose to think, say or do benefit ourselves? In my world all humans world wide honor and respect each other at work, home and play. Men, women and children have equal rights. All life is cherished, honored and respected. Peace reigns through out our planet and love is the inspiration for most action. Our efforts at protecting our planet take top priority. We are all happy and healthy. Each of us finds joy in the present moment without regretting the past or worrying about the future.
Birth is honored and respected for the amazing process that it is. There is no birth fear. For the small percentage of times when it is necessary medical assistance is available to all. For the majority of women, practitioners knowledgeable about the actual birth process will be physically and emotionally present to support and welcome each new soul into our world. Human life is valued and cherished. The majority of births take place at home birth or in a free standing birth center. Families are fully educated and understand the importance of labor pain and embrace it with help and support from caring knowledgeable practitioners, family and friends.
This is the world I want to live in.
The possibility begins with each new day. I set my intention for great things. I practice creating the kind of life I want to live in each moment and with each interaction. I practice loving myself and all those I meet. I honor my body as it is the temple in which I live. I educate myself so that I can stay healthy. I let negative emotions go as quickly as possible. I dream of possibilities. I am grateful for the life I have. The more mindful I am of my actions the more joy I discover. I embrace my pain as my greatest teacher. It is my dearest wish that I will have a beneficial impact on my world.
I am very grateful for everyone’s participation and support of our growing birth community. May you be happy. May you be healthy. May we have peace in our hearts and on our planet.
Jo Anne, what a beautiful dream. If we all dreamt like this the world would be a better place to live. People would feel valued and have pride in themselves and their fellow man. It does begin with ourselves doesn’t it? We can only do so much but I hope that the love that you possess for mankind and people like you eventually will overthrow the hate and disrespect that people have for each other and the planet we live on.
I see your spirit and I honor it. Thank you for this reminder what we are all about.
