Attended 1200 home births since 1990, primary midwife since 1995.  Passionate about letting birth unfold in an instinctual way, and being a “lifeguard” to keep it safe.  A positive birth experience helps women prepare for motherhood and strengthens family bonds.  I partner with families to provide evidence-based, respectful care. Low volume practice with one provider and one assistant,  for maximum continuity and personalized care.

Midwives have excellent backup physicians. Teen, well woman, pre & post menopausal gyne care. Evanston Hospital. Offices in Wilmette and Glenview. VBAC offered. Privately owned practice which means they have more autonomy and flexibility.

PCC’s Certified Nurse-Midwives offer full-scope midwifery care, including prenatal, postpartum, family planning, and obstetrical/gynecological services. Midwives attend births at West Suburban Medical Center, ABC, and PCC’s free-standing birth center, the Birth Center at PCC. Waterbirths available. VBAC available at West Suburban. PCC offers comprehensive women’s health care, including prenatal, postpartum, family planning, and obstetrical/gynecological services. Certified Nurse-Midwives, Family Medicine Physicians, and Obstetrician/Gynecologists work collaboratively and attend births at West Suburban Medical Center (also ABC) and the Birth Center at PCC in Berwyn.
